Finally back!

Since the 10.th of April me and different versions of the band have been in a bus on the road spreading the sound of “Rykestrasse 68″, my latest album. Our last gig was in Lisbon the 15.th of June. About three months on tour, just with small breaks in between, we have done about 30 gigs around Europe. I am very happy now. All the gigs were fantastic, and there were surprisingly many people out there knowing about me and wanting to listen. It has just been so much good respons! I just need to bring out a very large ‘THANK YOU ALL’ for being at my concerts, listening and supporting! My band and me have had a great time playing for you all!

We started in Hamburg (10.th of April) and played in Germany for about a week. The band were pretty new and we used some time to build up our liks, but when we had, i loved the musicality between us! And it seemed like the audience did as well. Germany was incredible, many thanks to Sven- Erik and Birgit at Beats International and of course Soenke at Electric Chair! A lot of people, perfect venues and great response. Then we headed for Italy. A very beautiful contry and we were blessed with great weather and we even made a day off in Venice. Catania were also great! After a short break at home rehearsing in a new band, we went further on to Belgium, France, Germany (again) and Switzerland. I have to say Bern is the most beautiful capital i’ve ever seen. And not to mension the cool venue and the huge audience. That was breathtaking. I will definitely come back! And Belgium: Every time I have visited any Benelux- country, I’m thrilled. You are always so eager and enthusiastic. And this time was no exception. And I love France and i would very much play there again! After another break rehearsing a new band again, we went Ljubljana in Slovenia. Beautiful country and a great start on the rest of the European Tour 2007! We went for the third time to Germany, still great, and then to the Netherlands. I told you about the benelux- countries, and Amsterdam was incredible! The bus took us further on to the United Kingdom and we were there for about a week. We got company of the fabulous In The Country and at one gig of Susanna&the magical orchestra and we had a great time! We are friends from our studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music so we had a lot to reminisce about. On the gig in London i also met my record label; Nettwerk. Their head office is in Canada, but they have offices in Europe also, amongst them, one in london. They’re doing a great job! After the third part we went home again and got ready for the fourth and last part. Spain and Portugal. Both Spain and Portugal was a great experience, a lot og people and a glowing atmosphere. I’m looking foreward to come back!

Thank you all, fans, audiences, record labels, booking agents, promo- persons and my manager for making a splendid European Tour! It has been fantastic.

Extra big thanks to everyone in my bands:

Good to read that all went well with your tour! I wish I’d seen you - unfortunately I was touring with my own band when you came to France.

Anyway, I keep spreading the word as much as I can, still playing both of your albums a whole lot on a local radio station called Radio Dio, making 2-hour special programmes about your music, and now writing a small article about “Rykestrasse 68″ on a new website named www.cqfd.com (article to be found on www.cqfd.com/angil)…

Thank you for all the inspiration…

I’d love to send you a copy of my latest CD: is there a postal address where I can do it?
    (My e-mail is angil@angil.org)

I’m so glad I was able to listen and see you in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Thanks for that!

Hope you’ll be able to relax a bit at home.

    Ha en fin dag! :)
