Wenn will you’re latest CD be released on vinyl.
I love your music Very much and wish that someday you will come to play in Toronto, Canada; or really anywhere in the vicinity will do too!
I will invite everyone I know. promise. Does that make it worth your while?
Thank you so much for your musical pleasure
Raphael
Hello Hanne
I really want to buy the CD of Rykestrasse 68 but want to get the version with the beutiful cover by Non-Format artwork, not the british edition, were can I get it from. Keep up the beutiful music and I will catch you again at the Luminaire next week.
Heard your song Northwind on a Toronto radio station a few days ago…very unique and wonderful…now back in San Francisco buying everything you’ve got on iTunes…listening to Ticking Bomb…WOW…your orchestrations and structures are very wonderful and unique…and your vocal phrasings…unexpectable, killer…Now listening to Ease…more wonderfullness…You should do a duet album with Lisa Ekdahl…and another with someone who gets heavy guitar lines like Cheryl Crow or Courtney Love (counterpoint to your finesse)…Now listening to Sutekh duet Ease (in C Mix)…great…Do more of this (will help you reach a wider audience),,,Other duet opps: Ulrich Schnauss, Sigur Ros…Now listening to Balloon…magnifique! Keep the great super abundant creativity coming…- Stephen
Really, really, really enjoyed your show at Paradiso, Amsterdam. Amazing voice, beautiful music… And I was surprised of all the different sounds and instruments you guys used. Thank you!
Jean Parlette
You blew my mind at the Paradiso also. Please come back to Amsterdam for a reprise at Club 8, and I promise you a packed house and a gig to remember. I personally persuade every musician, DJ, artist and music lover in the greater Amsterdam erea to come be begeisterd too!
Etienne of Club 8, Amsterdam
Hei
Hanne, har du hørt Madeleine Peyroux sin låt “Between the bars”?
Det må definitivt være din tvillingstemme! Har tenkt på det så mange ganger nå at jeg måtte bare få det ut! Sjekk det ut- dere burde jo ha en duo sammen
i discovered you just about 3 month ago and bought all your albums. i really like your voice and ‘childish’ style. i just now would like to see you on stage!!!!
although it seems like you’re not having so many concert in France and i just missed the one in Dijon! Do you have an idea of when you might have another European tour that would stop in france?
Thanks for giving such an amazing new kick to the music world!
PS: for ticking bomb was that song created for “rendez vous bellleville” or did you use that soundtrack?
thanks again for being so great
Heard you last night (Tues 22.05.07) at Kendal. I have had your album Rykestrasse 68 for some time and I am very impressed with it - a fine album which I recommed to everyone. However your album is only a shadow of your live performance which is just awesome. Your band is fantastic and your voice is unbelievable - thank you for playing Break my Body a powerful song that sends shivers down my spine. A very special evening for me which I enjoyed immensely - as did everyone there judging by the reactions - come back soon!!! Thank you.
hanne, its been driving me absolutely crazy and i have to ask: what microphone did you use for vocals on rykstrasse 68? i can’t stop listening to it.
just wanted to say thank you for singing. your voice is the most beautiful sound.
Hi Hanne,
I really hope you come to Australia some day. You have a fanbase down here too!
Mike
Hi, At last I found a copy of Hanne’s latest release here in Japan! So imagine my disappointment when I found out I couldn’t upload the data to my Sony connect MP3 player! As 100 percent of my music listening is performed during the morning commuter crush while riding the train, I was wandering if you could guide me on how to successfully upload the data? Otherwise I will be Hanne-less in Tokyo … and that’s just not good!
I have at last found a copy of Hanne’s latest release in Tokyo but cannot upload it onto my Sony connect mp3. Can you advise me how to do so please? If not, I just wasted 3,000 yen!
Saw you and your fantastic band (amazing drummer!) at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London last night. I had a wonderful time, thank you!
Come back often, yes?
Lawrence.
Hanne, I just wanted to let you know that you were the winner of Season 1 of the hip new reality blog competition, The Blatchelor! Your prize is that I will buy your album. To follow the entire, brilliant saga, you’re going to have to go to my blog, though. Thankfully, it’s worth it because you totally beat 24 other women to claim the title.
Oh goodness, it just occurred to me how much that looks like spam. I promise I’m really posting because I just totally love your music, especially “A Cheater’s Armoury” and “The Northwind”, because typewriters are the best percussion instrument EVER.
¡!your music is fantastic! congratulatios
At my website you find also a painting of Hanne.
Peace
Bulli
hej hanne! du gör så fantastisk musik så man blir alldeles glad i hjärtat! om du kom till sverige och spelade skulle jag vara otroligt tacksam =).
mvh // max
hello hanne!
please visit australia sometime.
love, zoë,
Hello Hanne and band!
I saw you guys yesterday on pukkelpop and I must say it was the best concert I saw on the festival! For real!!
I know you guys for more than a year now, but I love you even more now i’ve seen you live!
Are the songs normally done with saxophone?
Thanks for the great concert and keep doing what you’re doing!
Evelien
great gig last saturday on pukkelpop, best concert seen on the festival! (eat your heart out, trent ;)) see you in the beginning of may guys!!
Hello,
I saw your show last saterday at Pukkelpop in Belgium. I never heard of Hanne Hukkelberg before, but you’ve won yourself a fan. It was really intense, so pure, a real harmonic alternative for the wild show of Nine Inch Nails, who were playing on the main stage at that moment. Keep up the great work !
hej Hanne,
thx for your beautifull concert last saturday at pukkelpop festival, Hasselt (Belgium). Your show was the best of the 3day festival. I had looked forward to it.
People don’t know what they have missed
But I think it’s a shame the tent was not even half full
come back soon, I’ll be there for sure
Mike (Belgium)
Hi there Hanne & friends,
I’m sad to say I missed your gig in Holland this tour, but I’ll definately be there next time! Take care and keep writing such wonderful music.
Leine

Hi, I just wanted to tell you how much I love your music. It’s so different and fresh and wonderful. I wanted to thank you for it.
Plus, you should check your myspace page.
When will the new album be available in the states. I would like the tangible version not the itunes version.
thanks,
K
Also is there going to be a possibility of north american tour?
Hi Hanne,
bought your “little things” in Oslo few weeks ago, while i was there for work.
I went into a CD shop in Bogstadveien one evening and your CD was on. I immediately was captured by the unusually stimulating music, and by your voice. I bought and listened to it several times. Very nice piece of work: original and well conceived. And the instruments you choose bring so much variety. Some of the songs remind me of certain progressive stuff, the use of horns and winds, something like the first King Crimson.
But then the electronics bring so much novelty. You are doing very well, I’ll have to buy your last album too, next time I’m in Oslo….that city is inspirational.
Fabio
Hanne Hukkelberg - My favourite concert while Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg! Never heard before but will now check out your site regularly. Hope the north wind blows you back to Hamburg soon. All the best, Roland.
Dear Hanne & friends,
I witnessed your amazing performance at Pukkelpop (Hasselt, Belgium) this summer, and I’m looking forward to your next concert in Belgium eversince…
I noticed that a concert is planned on 28 november 2007 in Gent, Belgium, but I don’t seem to find any info on the web concerning the exact place, so I haven’t been able to uy my tickets yet.
Please help me out, I wouldn’t want to miss this concert!
Jan
Hi, Hanne,
My name is Dave and l am from San Francisco, California. A music freak friend of mine picked up “Little Things” on vinyl at the record store one day and played me a song. That’s all it took. I went the next day to get the only remaning copy and realize now it is somewhat difficult to get your music out here (except for download). I love the songwriting and your voice and SO wish you had plans to come play in San Francisco. I own a music web site company called Fast Atmosphere (visit www.fastatmosphere.com to see what other artists we work with) and if you ever need any help with any web site stuff, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I would love it. Thanks! -Dave-
Please, please come to Seattle…or just the US in general,
I know so many people who would love to hear your voice!
You’re one of my favorite artists and it’s a bummer to not be able to buy your cd’s (besides Itunes) and hear you live!
Hi Hanne
Saw your great show at the Bloomsbury festival on Saturday, it was an outstanding performance. Such a shame that the technical difficulties meant your set was so short. Please come back to London soon and give us a full show.
PS any chance of a set list, there was a song I didn’t recognise that wasn’t on Rykestrasse 68, thanks.
thank you loads for such a nice and warm concert in Girona yesterday night! it was amazing!!
take care & kisses
good luck in Barcelona tonite
Albert
ps: someone has missed to put Girona in your concert agenda (!?)

Hello Hanne,
Like many of your listeners, I was captivated from the moment I heard your music. Your work is phenomenal: so deep, moving, humorous, and ingenious. The lyrics, especially, have amazing visuals and stories unlike anything in contemporary music.
I did an illustration of a song off your first album, if you’d like to check it out: http://miaillustration.blogspot.com/2007/12/little-things.html
Keep up the amazing work! You are one of my very favorite artists in the world, and you are very inspiring. Congratulations on the awards, reviews, and honors: you deserve it!
Much love from the USA,
Mia
Hello Hanne,
At Eurosonic I gave you our album, I was wondering if you had the chance to listen to it?
Hopefully you can send us an email with your opinion about it and we hope to see you in the Netherlands again soon.
Buhbye!
Jean
hello Hanne!
what about a concert in the south of france? we did not have the great pleasure to hear you here!!! come enjoy our sunny side!!!i saw your amazing concert in amsterdam!we need you here!!!
lisa
she has an couple of TBA dates in march, PLEASE COME TO MINNEAPOLIS, MN!!
it would be a perfect stop after chicago!
PLEASE COME TO MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA. WE LOVE YOU HERE!
You and your band’s performance in San Francisco last night was sublime — evanescent, gauzy, rollicking, tenacious….very very entertaining. (Not to be demeaning, but the “headlining” band was a sharp fall-off from you all.) I was too shy to ask you to purchase CDs, as you were all obviously eager to get to your hotel… I’ll check my local shops.
Please come again, and surely there will be more people in attendance. I drove 50 miles (80 km) one-way to see you, and want to do so again! Next time you are in the bay area, check out Santa Cruz. There are a few cozy venues perfect for your band in this beach town, and adding more gigs could possibly make for a nicer, more leisurely stay in Northern California.
Hi Hanna, today it’s a wonderfull day…
It’s a vey sunny day and i hear you for the first time.
I hope you will come soon i Belgium.
Best regards for you and your very great band, Patrice

My colleague Kemi has added two of your songs to her ipod! I’m not sure under what playlist she has filed them…probably altern8, or maybe just under moosic (i guess its pretty obvious how cool she is by the way she spells things, eh?)
Anyway, I just know how excited you will be at this news!
Take care
